Before they could even walk, Jim and Sholi Glauses’ four children have been on horses and they’ve rarely gotten off.
Tate, 23; Teil, 22; Savanna, 21; and Moriah, 20; are the fourth generation of the Glaus family to grow up on its angus ranch, located just south of Chamberlain.

The mane of Moriah’s horse Patrone is braided up during a practice back in May at the family’s practice arena on the family’s ranch near Chamberlain. Braiding the hair prevents the dally (wrap the rope around the rubber covered saddle horn) from getting caught in the hair and tearing it out.
